Thick, heavy-duty 8/9 oz Water Buffalo Leather. 8/9 oz describes the leather thickness, not the weight of the finished belt.
A 1.5" (38mm) Western belt cut from veg-tanned water buffalo with a pull-up finish that develops contrast and character as it bends. Comes with a buckle — gold by default, silver on request. Made in California.

Sizing
Measure a belt you wear from the fold (where the buckle meets the leather) to the hole you use. Don't measure end-to-end; don't include the buckle. Odd number? Round up.
Heads up
Pull-up leather changes tone where it flexes — that's the look, not damage. Color and grain vary hide-to-hide.

Choose Black, Brass, Nickel, or Gold at no extra cost. Use the hardware finish options where available, or write your preference in "Notes for the seller" before adding to cart. Your selected or requested finish takes priority. Buckle color is selected separately.

Care instructions
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, water, and harsh chemicals. Condition every 6 months with a quality leather conditioner to keep it supple. Buffalo leather will develop a rich patina with wear — that's the character.

Unfortunately, only the belt blank arrived, without any hardware. The entire belt is currently on its way again. We'll see, but the supplier responded immediately to my message. I thought that was very good.

Overall the leather is not finished on the outer edges and presents itself as cheap. Further, once buckled, the tip plus the first 1 inch of the belt scrapes against the metal as the leather is wider than the actual buckle
