TheLeathersmithStore is a small workshop in the United States. We cut belts, straps, sheets, and hardware from full-grain water buffalo and Hermann Oak Latigo — leather chosen for grain, temper, and how it ages.

What we make

Belts and straps for everyday wear and ranch work. Sheets, panels, and blanks for makers who want clean cuts and consistent thickness. Hardware that pairs with the leather we sell. No middlemen, no marketing fluff — what we list is what we cut and ship.

Why buffalo

Water buffalo hide gives bold natural grain, holds patina well, and stays workable through years of use. We use vegetable tanning where it matters and avoid plastic coatings. Each hide is different — color and grain vary, and that's the point.

Made in USA

Every cut, edge, and finish happens here. We hand-trim panels and inspect each piece before it ships. If something arrives wrong, message us — we'll fix it.
