Tooling-grade vegetable-tanned cowhide cut into ready-to-use panels. Full-grain, natural finish, no synthetic coatings — carve it, stamp it, mold it, dye it. Tanned in Mexico using traditional veg-tan methods, cut in our shop.

What you get

  • 100% full-grain cowhide, vegetable tanned
  • Approximately 2 mm thick
  • Medium temper — holds stamp and tooling impressions cleanly
  • Natural color, no synthetic coatings or chemical odor
  • Hand-cut with clean edges and even thickness — no splitting required
  • Tanned in North America (Mexico), cut and packed in USA

Sizes & what to make with them

  • 6×6" (4 pieces) — practice panels, keychains, stamping samples
  • 6×12" — wallets, cardholders, watch straps
  • 8×12" — journal covers, small clutch panels
  • 12×12" — tooled art panels, holster fronts
  • 6×24" — belts, dog collars, longer straps
  • 12×24" — bag panels, larger tooled work

Heads up

Sold as individual flat sheets, not rolls. Natural leather — minor grain variation and slight color shift hide-to-hide is normal, not a defect. Takes dye and oil evenly; case it with water before tooling for the cleanest impressions.

Shipping & returns

Free shipping included. Sheets are packed flat to prevent creasing. Need a custom size, thickness, or wholesale quantity? Message before ordering. Returns accepted; buyer covers return shipping and refund is issued minus original shipping after inspection.

  • Materials
100% full-grain water buffalo leather (or Hermann Oak Latigo), USA tanned
  • Care instructions
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, water, and harsh chemicals. Condition every 6 months with a quality leather conditioner to keep it supple. Buffalo leather will develop a rich patina with wear — that's the character.

This is a serious piece of leather making a beautiful belt strap. The antiqued finish is a perfect match for suede or distressed leather.

Love the belt. Fits perfectly with my grandfather's old western style belt buckle. The leather is nicely worn and rugged looking. Tom

I won a Belt buckle in a game of poker but didn't have a good belt to put it on. This Belt is of a good well worked leather that feels fresh, the sizing is correct and the width and thickness are good. nothing clunky or poking where it shouldn't, quiet but a stylish addition to any outfit. See myself easily wearing this daily from now on.
